The parents and citizens (P&C) association is the official parent organisation of the school. It is an active and dedicated group of parents, care givers, teachers and interested citizens that work to provide support to the school.
The association organises fundraising and other activities (such as the Easter raffle, Mother's Day and Father's stalls, school fair, school banking scheme, second-hand uniform stall, discos, walkathon) and operates through the fundraising sub-committee.

Meetings
Meetings are held on Tuesdays in Weeks 4 and 8 in each term at 7pm in the staff room located in the office. The meetings are open to all parents and care givers of the school and interested citizens in the area. Everyone is welcome to attend and is eligible to vote on matters raised, by becoming a member.
If you would like to submit an agenda item for consideration for our next meeting please email us at beverlyhillspublicp.and.c@gmail.com
What happens at a meeting
A parents and citizens' meeting is a public forum for discussion of points of specific interest to the school and its community. We discuss fundraising events, school infrastructure, and other important issues. Meetings have a structured approach but generally we try to keep things informal beyond this. It is a great place to learn about what goes on behind the scenes in terms of running and funding the school. It is also a place to raise issues of concern or make suggestions with regard to specific issues. The school principal is an integral part of our meetings and provides information and guidance to us.
How to get involved
You can participate in the meetings as much or as little as your time and interest permits. If you have time and a little commitment or a specific skill you can offer, then you may want to consider a position on the executive or on one of the subcommittees. If you don't have a lot of time you can help out by becoming involved as a volunteer for one of the many fundraising events. Any help is appreciated.
We have a Facebook page! It is a great way to stay in the loop of fundraising events and other activities. The next time you are on Facebook, go to our page; Beverly Hills Public School P&C Association and hit the like button.
